In January 2012 Frontal Communication has received the designation as Cisco ATP - Cisco TelePresence Video Express in South East Europe. Participation in ATP - Cisco TelePresence Video Express program is by Cisco nomination only. Only the partners that fulfill all the Cisco ATP program criteria in a certain period of time (6 months) receive this designation that enable them to provide TelePresence Video solutions.

Frontal Communication is the recipient of two new Cisco awards, Cisco Advanced Services Partner of the Year and Cisco Service Provider Partner of the Year. Cisco unveiled the winners during its annual conference, Cisco Annual Partner Meeting, organized in Covasna between 15 and 16 November, 2011.

Frontal Communication has met all requirements to enroll in CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE tier under Cisco Cloud Partner Program - Cloud Builder, demonstrating once more company’s commitment and expertise. With the designation, Frontal Communication will now be able to sell and implement Cisco network-centric, end-to-end cloud solutions for end-customers and cloud providers.
Cisco introduced a new cloud partner program, Cisco Cloud Partner Program (CPP), to help partners evolve to monetize the cloud opportunity.
The Cisco Cloud Partner Program (CPP) has three tracks that provide partners with the flexibility to choose the role they want to play in the market: Cloud Builder, Cloud Provider and Cloud Services Reseller.
Cloud Builder is for partners who design and implement cloud-ready infrastructures or fully provisioned private or public clouds. The designation validates partners' competency in three aspects of building clouds: Infrastructure, Management Applications and Cloud Professional Services.

Frontal Communication, VMware Enterprise Solution Provider, announces the earnings of two new competencies of the VMware Partner Network.
After the earning of "Infrastructure Virtualization Competency" in September 2010 , which demonstrated Frontal Communication's ability to virtualize and consolidate server environments using a VMware virtualization solution, two new skills have been acquired on March 30, 2011. Hereby, "Business Continuity Competency" recognizes the company’s expertise in deploying VMware solutions for data protection, high availability and disaster recovery.
The second competency earned, "Desktop Virtualization Competency", recognizes the expertise of Frontal Communication in deploying VMware solutions for virtualizing desktops and applications.

Cisco recunoaste competentele Frontal Communication la nivel mondial prin acordarea premiului Arhitectural Excellence Partner of the Year. Premiul a fost inmanat de catre John Chambers, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Cisco in cadrul Cisco Partner Summit 2011 organizat la New Orleans in perioada 28 februarie - 3 martie 2011.
In timpul receptiei de decernare a Premiilor Globale (Global Awards reception), Cisco a recunoscut succesele obtinute de partenerii sai la nivel mondial si a evidentiat cateva dintre cele mai importante. Partenerii au fost premiati pentru performantele lor deosebite atat la nivel mondial, cat si la nivel de regiune geografica.

Aug 11, 2010 Direct One, Omnilogic and Frontal Communication conclude a strategic partnership
Direct One, Omnilogic and Frontal Communication announced a strategic partnership whereby the three companies will collaborate in order to maximize their current technological potential.
Given the diversification of opportunities and the increase in complexity of the solutions to be offered to customers, Direct One held that the technological development partnerships with current Romanian integrators (though useful in relatively early stages of the project), no longer cope with its needs and decided the signing of an overall new tripartite agreement for multiple technology areas with Frontal Communication, the leading Cisco partner in Romania (according to the common turnover), and Omnilogic - the main local provider of infrastructure and cloud computing services.
The partnership will exploit opportunities created by the proliferation of broadband services, especially due to increasing Internet video traffic type and movement of interest from technology providers to content providers.
In this context, the parties have decided to continue development of IP NGN network as part of the CDN - Content Delivery Network to Direct One with the solutions proposed by Frontal Communication. This will develop new capabilities for storage and distribution of content that will receive a new dimension through integrating cloud-computing services provided by Frontal Communication and located in Omnilogic Data Center in Otopeni.
The second direction of collaboration will join communication network resources of Direct One and the system integration resources of Frontal Communication, in order to define a comprehensive package of integrated services that both companies will be able to market in Romania.

Jul 7, 2010 The team that represented Romania won the 3rd prize at Networking Academy Games, Debrecen
The Romanian team composed of Teodor Chirica (C.N.I. „Tudor Vianu” – Bucharest), Robert Dolca (C.N. „Aurel Vlaicu” - Orastie) and Catalin Vasile (C.N.”I.L. Caragiale” - Bucharest), coordinated by prof. Daniel Popa (C.N. „Aurel Vlaicu” - Orastie) won the 3rd prize in the category HSE (highschool 2) in the competition Networking Academy Games. The 5th edition of this international competition was held at Debrecen in 24 to 25 June 2010 and brought together competitors from six countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine and Hungary).
In the UNI (university) category Romania was represented by 2 students from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest, Alexandru Juncu and Bogdan Doinea, Bogdan winning the 2rd place. In both categories, the competition was to solve a theoretical test and a practical test in which competitors had to configure network devices.
The students members of team that represented Romania were selected through the national competition phase of AcadNet (www.acadnet.ro) organised by the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest and the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports.

The designation is effective since September 15, 2009, and the responsibilities of the new General Manager will include the development and co-ordination of sales strategies and programmes of Frontal Communication in Romania.

Bogdan Constantinescu, 43 years, is graduated Politehnica University of Bucharest, Applied Electronics department within Faculty of Electronics and Communications. He is married and he has two children.
Bogdan Constantinescu is active in Romanian IT&C industry since early 1992, in management positions in IBM and Microsoft. In 2001 he has started the collaboration with Cisco as Enterprise Account Manager, advancing within the organization to Country Manager position. Since July 24, 2009, Bogdan Constantinescu has decided to continue his professional path outside Cisco.

Participation in Cisco ATP - Data Center Unified Computing program is by Cisco nomination only and requires the achievement of defined program criteria. In South-Eastern Europe this invitation was launched to 3-4 partners, Frontal Communication being one of them. Only the partners that will fulfill Cisco ATP program criteria in a certain period of time (6 months) could receive the designation as Cisco ATP - Data Center Unified Computing partner.
